Where to Find Seismometers in Fortnite Chapter 3

The first step toward completing this new challenge is to locate some Seismometers, and there are many of them to be found in the northwest quadrant of Fortnite’s map. Players can find a map and descriptions detailing the locations of all of the Seismometers below, and it is recommended that they simply jump into a vehicle at LogJam Lumberyard and drive to the three that are the closest.

On a hill to the northeast of LogJam Lumberyard. On a hill at the far north end of the map. Near a tree stump at the edge of the map. Hidden behind a bush just southwest of LogJam Lumberyard. On the bank of the river southwest of LogJam Lumberyard. Next to one of Fortnite’s Reboot Vans and small wooden structure. Near the coast to the southwest of a Seven Outpost. Further down the west coast. On a hill to the north of Camp Cuddle.

How to Collect Readings from Seismometers in Fortnite Chapter 3

Once a player locates one of the aforementioned Seismometers, which are small metal cubes with satellite dishes, they should simply approach it and press the input that appears onscreen to collect the readings. After doing this with three different Seismometers, fans will receive indication that they have completed the mission and earned the associated reward. That reward is 25,000 XP, which is sure to be of interest to players that are working on Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1’s Battle Pass.

For those fans that would like to earn even more XP, Fortnite’s Winterfest 2021 event is currently offering opportunities to do just that. Indeed, there is a series of challenges at the center of this holiday event, and each one of the quests grants XP upon completion. Players can also pickup some special cosmetics by tackling these tasks, including the Snowmando Board Glider and the Ffrosty Back Bling.
