Like the way previous seasons have worked, the Chapter 2 Season 1 battle pass comes with a grand total of 100 tiers for players to rise through, with each tier granting a different reward. A free version with limited rewards is available, but the Battle Pass that gives players access to these skins is purchasable with in-game V bucks or with real money.

The way these skins work in the Fortnite Chapter 2 Battle Pass is a little different from previous seasons. A cool new thematic twist means players will find that there’s more than one cosmetic option when they hit a skin tier. Each tier offers two alternative styles for players to pick and switch back and forth between. The exception to the rule is the final tier 100 reward, the “Fusion” costume, which comes in just one to start but has two additional unlockable varieties. The list of Chapter 2 Season 1 Battle Pass skins is listed below.
Tier 1 – Journey vs. Hazard
Tier 1 – Turk vs. Riptide
Tier 20 – Rippley vs. Sludge
Tier 40 – Remedy vs. Toxin
Tier 60 – 8-Ball vs. Scratch
Tier 80 – Cameo vs. Chic
Tier 100 – Fusion (three different styles/colors)
Chapter 2 is the biggest update to Fortnite up to this point. A major focus for Epic this time around was on fun. The goal was to reduce grinding in Fortnite and they have adjusted the way gear, the weapon arsenal, and the medal systems work all in service of this mission.
Major overhauls have been made with the way Chapter 2 Battle Pass works and the XP system. Tweaks to the UI, and activities and interactions with the world like swimming and fishing have been added. The new season of Fortnite seems absolutely full to the brim with new content and surprising changes that will hopefully keep players discovering new secrets for weeks to come as the first season of Chapter 2 plays out.
Fortnite is out now for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
